RUSHES SOHO SHORTS PRESENT QUEER BRIT AT REEL OUT

Rushes Soho Shorts will be presenting a programme of British work showcasing queer filmmakers and films with queer and transgender themes for Canada's Reelout Film Festival, www.reelout.com .

The programme is funnily enough called 'Queer Brit'.

Reelout prides itself on honouring the work and dedication of those who have championed queer film and video and its artists over the past ten years and will continue to work towards showcasing the best and brightest queer cinematic offerings from around the world.

Joe Bateman, Festival Director for Rushes Soho Shorts comments, "It's really exciting to be able to look at the films we've previously had entered into our festival and to be able to bring together such a fantastic programme of work under the Queer Brit banner. We just wished we could get over there to celebrate with the Reelout gang - and, perhaps, camp it up just a little bit!"

Queer Brit is screening from 7pm at the Stirling A Theatre, 64 Queen's Crescent, Kingston, Ontario.
