SWEET16 SUPPORTS UK MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS 2009
Following a hugely successful UK launch party at Rushes last month, sweet16 announces it is teaming up with this year's UK Music Video Awards.
sweet16 will support the Best Producer Category and is also providing two free sweet16 music video packages worth £1600 each which will be awarded to the winners of the two Best Budget Video categories.
The winner of the Best Budget Video - Pop/Dance/Urban and Best Budget Video - Rock/Indie/Alternative will be going home not only with a trophy but also the complete sweet16 package to make their next music video.
Significantly, the first sweet 16 job since its launch last month was the music promo for North London-based musician Just Jack's latest single 'The Day I Died'. Conceived by directorial duo Ben and Joe Dempsey through production company Knucklehead, post was completed by the team at Rushes, with grade by Simone Grattarola and visual effects by Matt Jackson.
Forthcoming sweet16 projects include the latest promos for Soft Toy Emergency and Little Comets, both For Flynn Productions.
Joce Capper, Rushes' Managing Director adds: "We have supported UK Music Video Awards for many years. We love film and we love music. We love producing great work for our clients and we will do whatever it takes to make sure that continues to happen. Simply? That's what sweet16 is about."
